How do I post a job?
· Tap on the big plus sign on the bottom of the screen
· Take a picture of what you need done or post a picture from your gallery. (“How do I take a picture of doing my laundry?”, you might think. Well, you don’t have to include a picture, but our research shows that you will get a better response rate if you do. So, maybe take a picture of your washing machine or the amount of laundry you have?)
· Add some details about what needs to be done, when and where etc. Try to give as much information as you can.
· Set the distance of how far away you are willing to look (for transport costs)
· Set the price you want to pay. Sometimes it’s difficult to know exactly how much a job should cost, but don’t worry – You can turn on the negotiate option to let Gigsterr Providers negotiate the price with you.
· Preview your job posting and check that everything looks correct
· Once you’re happy, tap “Publish”!
That’s it, now you just need to wait for some Gigsterr Providers to bid on your job.
Providers have placed bids on my job, how do I hire?
Right, so you posted a Gig and some Gigsterr Providers are interested in getting it done for you! Picking a Gigsterr provider is very easy.
· Go to ‘My Gigs’ and click on the Gig you posted.
· Have a look at the Gigsterr Providers that have applied for your Gig. You can see the price they have given if they have negotiated, and also their rating on their profiles. The rating comes from actual Gigs they have completed before.
· You can chat to the people who have applied before deciding.
· After chatting with a Gigsterr Provider, you can click “Accept this Gigsterr Provider and make changes to the job” or “Accept this Gigsterr Provider without changes”. If a change is made, the Gigsterr Provider must also accept on their side.
· Once you have decided who should do the job, tap on “Select Gigsterr”, select the worker you want and tap “Get it done!” The worker you have selected will get a notification that you have selected them and they will accept the job.
· A chat window will open up at the bottom of the screen where you can communicate with the worker and discuss the details about the job.
· After the Gig is completed you will need to rate the worker who has performed the job before you can keep using the app. You can also upload pictures of completed Gigs if you choose to.
I’m not satisfied with how the provider completed my gig. What are my options?
Any dispute regarding the Gig needs to be resolved between the Gigsterr and Gigsterr Provider. Try to discuss with the Provider about how you can fix the issue. If you are not satisfied, you can give the Gigsterr Provider a low rating to make sure that future users are aware that there may be issues.
If the job was not done, or the Gigsterr provider did not complete the task, you can dispute this further and it will be reviewed by our team.
How do I pay for a gig?
Gigsterr makes payment seamless. You can pay using your credit card with our secure payment system. Gigsterr promotes a cash free system to promote safety for both Gigsterrs and Gigsterr Providers

How do i apply for a Gig?
· Find a job that you think looks interesting for you to do. You can use the different search and filtering options in the Overview screen to find the jobs that suit you.
· Have a look at how far away the job is (check the map!) and look at the details about what needs to be done.
· Once you have found a job that’s right for you, tap on “Apply” and wait to see if you have been accepted or if the Gigsterr would like to chat with you.
· Remember only apply for Gigs that you can actually completed. If you do not complete a Gig you will not be paid.
· The Gigsterr has given a start price for the job, but you can choose to go higher or lower than that. You can click the negotiate button and explain why you are offering a different price. The Gigsterr can choose to accept or click negotiate. If the Gigsterr accepts the job you will get a notification that you won the bidding! Remember you are competing against other applicants though.
I got the gig after winning the bid—what's my next move?
All right, good job, you got your first job! Now we’ve got work to do!
· When an employer selects you to do the job you will get a notification.
· When you go to the details for the Gig that you have won, there will be a chat window where you can communicate with the Gigsterr about what should be done.
· Communicate with the Gigsterr and agree on the details.
· Get to work! Once you start the Gig you need to confirm in the app that the job is started. Go to “My Gigs” and open the job, tap on “Begin work”. You will also have to give a code that will be sent to you for the Gigsterr to input into their phone. Make sure you phone is charged and that you have data. Gigsterr is not responsible if your phone dies or does not have data to complete any required authentications, and penalties as outlined in the Gigsterr Terms and Conditions.
· Once the Gig is completed, go to the job details again and tab “Gig completed”
· Make sure to take pictures of any work completed as proof. This also helps if there are any disputes.
· You will receive payment to you account within 48 hours
How do I get paid for the gigs I perform?
You will receive payment as soon as both the Gigsterr and Gigsterr Provider click Job completed and rate each other within 48 hours of Gig completion.
